Project Status • DBE/SBE goals exceeded for design and on pace to meet or exceed goals for construction • 43 Workforce Initiative Now candidates hired on project • All original civil, track and structure designs complete • 98 percent of right-of-way conveyed for construction • Major UPRR and BNSF relocation work underway • All 18 bridges on East underway or complete; 11 of 13 bridges on Gold Line/Northwest Rail underway or complete • Track installation in progress on East and Gold • CRMF building construction 95 percent complete • Station names formally approved with input from local jurisdictions 5

Quality Management RTD identified issues requiring improvement • Four bridge decks redesigned and require retrofit construction work • Approximately 14 columns require additional strengthening or retrofit Quebec Bridge box girders and deck 7

Commuter Rail Vehicle Rail car bodies with wheel sets, Jan. 10, 2014 Car shells loaded onto cargo ship, Jan. 20, 2014 11 • 26 car bodies in assembly plant, 16 more enroute • First rail car bodies and wheel sets fitted together in January 2014 • Pilot cars assembly complete in May, transfer to Denver in Fall 2014 • ISO 9001 audit by Bureau Veritas conducted December 2013 • Interim Buy America audit conducted in December 2013 • Procurement of 12 vehicles for North Metro Rail Line service is complete

Coordination with Adjacent Projects Peoria Crossing girder installation across East Rail Line and Union Pacific alignment • Peoria Crossing: Grade separation taking Peoria Street over East Rail Line and Union Pacific, on schedule to open to traffic this summer; Milestone Event tentatively on May 16 • I-225 Light Rail Line: Coordinating design and construction activities at shared Peoria Station 33
Coordination with Adjacent Projects Denver Union Station • Installation of overhead power system and signaling systems will begin in the Spring • Amtrak return to station scheduled for Feb. 18, subject to change • Hand-over to Denver Transit Partners on schedule after cutover 34
Coordination with Adjacent Projects Denver International Airport Hotel and Transit Center • • DIA handed over station area on schedule at end of 2013 DIA still resolving punch list items Contractor DTP to begin track installation, overhead power system and signaling DTP to construct some operational facilities for DTP and RTD within the Transit Center • RTD Bus Operations will use this facility 35
Coordination with Adjacent Projects Olde Town Arvada • RTD pilot project in city’s transit- oriented development will provide new bus transfer facility and 640+ spaces in structured parking garage Rendering of city-proposed Olde Town Station parking garage and bus facility 36
Coordination with Adjacent Projects • 38 th & Blake Station: Denver projects include roadway reconfiguration at Blake over 38 th Street and a second pedestrian bridge over railroad corridor between 35 th and 36 th streets • Westminster Station: Betterment request from Westminster enables the rail station to become a key element in Westminster’s redevelopment plan for the area City rendering of Westminster Station area betterments 37
