What is e. CAF? • e. CAF is the e-enablement of the Common Assessment Framework (e. CAF). • e. CAF will replace the existing paper based CAF processes.

What Will e. CAF Do? • e. CAF will be used to record: – CAF Assessments • Hold details of: – Screening Minutes – CAF Panel Meetings – TAF Meeting Records – TAF Delivery Plans

Why e. CAF? • All CAF information is securely centrally stored, removing the need to post, email or fax sensitive data. • Members of the TAF can securely exchange messages, information and documents. • Authorised users able to access the system 24/7 • Improved management reporting

Who will use e. CAF? • Anyone who needs to create a CAF for a child or young person. • Authorised Agencies, Services and Practitioners involved with the child or young persons CAF Assessment, Review or Delivery Plan.

How will I access e. CAF? • Accessed via the Wokingham Borough Council CAF webpage. – www. wokingham. gov. uk/caf • • • Username, Password and Authorisation Code required to access the system. Unique Authorisation Code emailed to system users each time they login. Accessible from any PC or Laptop.

e. CAF Training • An e. Learning training site will be available. • • • Fully narrated, both audio and text Accessible 24/7 Can be accessed as often and as many times as needed.

Is There A Cost For Training? • There will be NO cost for e. CAF training. • There is NO restriction on the number of people who can be trained.

When Can I Use e. CAF? • e. CAF will be available to a pilot user group in May 2013 • e. CAF will be fully live in September 2013

Who will I contact for support? • e. CAF support will be provided by the Wokingham CAF Team. • Passwords can be reset 24/7 via the self serve forgotten password function. caf@wokingham. gov. uk
