Different Filters • Alpha – allows you to set the opacity of the element Syn: filter: alpha(opacity=20, finishopacity=100, style =1, statrx=0, starty=0, finishx=140, finishy=270) • Blur – makes the element blur Syn: filter: blur(add=true, direction=90, strength=6); • Chroma-makes the specified color transparent Syn: filter: chroma(color=#ff 0000) • Fliph & flipv: flips the elemt horizontally & vertically Syn: filter: flipv filter: fliph
Some of Filter Property <html><head><style type=“text/css”> h 2{width: 100%; }</style></head> <body> <h 2 style=“filter: glow()”>Glow</h 2> <h 2 style=“filter: blur()”>Blur</h 2> <h 2 style=“filter: flipv()”>Flip. V</h 2> <h 2 style=“filter: fliph()”>Fliph</h 2> <h 2 style=“filter: flipvfliph()”>Flip. Vand. Flip. H</h 2> <h 2 style=“filter: shadow()”>Shadow</h 2> <h 2 style=“filter: dopshadow()”>drop Shadow</h 2></body></html>
Chroma Filter • chroma filter applies transparency effects dynamically – Without using a graphics editor to hard-code transparency into the image • onchange – Fires when the value of a form changes
<html><head><title>Chroma Filter</title> <script type=”text/javascript”> function changecolor(the. Color) { if (thecolor ){ chroma. Img. filters(“chroma” ). color= the. Color; chroma. Img. filters(“chroma” ). enabled= true; } else chroma. Img. filters(“chroma” ). enabled= false; } </script> </head> <body> <h 1> Chroma Filter </h 1><img id =”chroma. Img” src=”trans. gif” style=”position: absolute; filter: chroma” alt =”Transparent Image” /> <form action = “ “> <select onchange=”changecolor(this. value)”> <option value= “ “>None</option> <option value= “#00 FFFF “>Cyan</option> <option value= “ #FFFF 00“>Yellow</option> <option value= “#FF 00 FF “>Magenta</option> <option value=”#000000” selected=”selected”>Black</option> </select></form></body></html>
