Studio Pro Dynalite Flash Generator The Dynalite is the power source and main control for all lighting equipment used in the imaging process.

Dynalite: Main Power Source Connection Main power source connection will connect to any wall outlet Recommendation: Connect to a different outlet than the one used for computer and imaging system

Dynalite: Head Outlets • These connect the Dynalite directly to the lighting equipment • Allow for a maximum of four lights to be connected to the Dynalite at one time. WARNING!!! DO NOT TOUCH…. Risk of dangerous, painful electric shock.

Dynalite Components: Lighting Intensity • The lighting intensity controls influence the intensity of the lights. • Can either be at Full, Half or Quarter intensity. • Full = Highest Intensity (Brightest) • Quarter = Lowest Intensity (Darkest) • Half = Middle Intensity • 6 possible intensity combinations. Lighting intensity controls (Power Switches)

Dynalite Components: Lighting Intensity • Each Power Switch controls the 2 Head Outlets above the respective switch • Note: When using more than one light, you need to have one light connected to a left Head Outlet and one light connect to a right Head Outlet. Power Switch A (Controls the 2 left Head Outlets) Power Switch B (Controls the 2 right Head Outlets)

Dynalite: Variator Knob The Variator knob further controls the lighting intensity. (Currently turned down twice)

Dynalite: Variator Knob When turning the Variator Knob Release the additional energy by down (clockwise/decrease pressing the Ready/Test button intensity) Also known as “bumping”

Dynalite: Variator Knob When turning the power variation knob “up” (counter-clockwise/increase intensity) you do not need to “bump it”

Dynalite: Ratio/Combine �Ratio = Asymmetrical setting �Light intensity directly corresponds to Power Switch settings �Combine = Symmetrical setting �Light intensity is equal between lights

Dynalite: Model Delay �Off = no delay between pictures �On = delay between pictures (1, 2, 4, or 8) seconds

Dynalite: Dimmer Slide Switches The power switches will turn the lights on and off. If the lights are either on or off, when pictures are taken, the lights will still flash. Dimmer slide switches (The lights are currently turned ON)

Dynalite: Miscellaneous (Ready/Test) • This button serves as a flash test switch and signals when the flash has a 100% readiness. • Also used to “bump” excess energy

Dynalite: Audible Ready Indicator • The Audible Ready Indicator makes a beep when the flash is ready • Not necessary for the Dynalite and lighting equipment to function
