• • • • THE EMPLOYER HAS A RIGHT TO REQUIRE THE LEARNER TO PERFORM DUTIES IN TERMS OF THE AGREEMENT THE RIGHT TO REQUIRE THE LEARNER TO COMPLY WITH WORKPLACE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES THE EMPLOYER MUST SUBMIT THE SIGNED LEARNERSHIP AGREEMENT TO THE SASSETA FOR REGISTRATION THE EMPLOYER MUST COMPLY WITH ALL RELEVANT LEGISLATION THE EMPLOYER MUST PROVIDE SUPERVISION, MENTORING & COACHING SIGN AN EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT WITH UNEMPLOYED LEARNERS THE EMPLOYER MUST PROVIDE FACILITIES AND RESOURCES FOR THE WORKPLACE EXPERIENCE ACTIVITIES THE EMPLOYER MUST RELEASE THE LEARNER TO ATTEND THEROTICAL TRAINING THE EMPLOYER MUST ENSURE THAT ON THE JOB ASSESSMENT IS DONE THE EMPLOYER MUST KEEP UPDATED RECORDS OF WORKPLACE LEARNING THERE MUST BE PERIODICAL PROGRESS DICUSSIONS WITH LEARNERS AND THE TRAINING PROVIDER THE EMPLOYER IS OBLIGED TO PAY THE SALARY OR LEARINING ALLOWANCE FOR LEARNERS THE EMPLOYER MUST APPLY ITS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES UNIFORMALLY FOR ALL LEARNERS THE EMPLOYER MUST KEEP A COPY OF THE LEARNERSHIP AGREEMENT AND ENSURE THAT THE LEARNER IS PROVIDED WITH HIS/HER COPY KEEP PROPER RECORDS OF PAYMENTS TO UNEMPLOYED AND EMPLOYED LEARNERS THE EMPLOYER MUST INFORM SASSETA OF ANY INTENTION TO AMEND, SUSPEND OR TERMINATE THIS AGREEMENT DIRECTOR-GENERAL: DR.
