Parking Decal Information • All students parking on Dutchtown High School's campus must have a student parking application on file and an issued student parking decal. • Students must park in their assigned parking space with decal visible. • Students that are illegally parked and have not purchased a parking decal are subject to being booted or towed at the driver's expense. Parking rules are being strictly enforced!

Computer Issues or Technology Issues o. Students, regarding computer issues tell your teacher so that the teacher can email Mr. Wilkerson in the technology office. o. For an appointment, use the APPOINTMTMENT LINK on the webpage. o. You must have an appointment to visit the Technology Office.

November is Apply to College Month! o. Did you know that there a lot of schools in Georgia that waive the application fee in November? ! o Whether you apply in Georgia or out of state make sure to get your college applications in all month long!

Attention Seniors Applying to College! o. Please visit the DHS counseling website to get information on college informational sessions, scholarships, & colleges waiving application fees for the month of November. o. Seniors! ØPlease forward copies of any college, military, or career acceptance letters and scholarship offers to your school counselors. ØThis information will be used to acknowledge your success at the end of the school year as the Class of 2021.

Work Based Learning Attention Juniors and Seniors! If you have a job and would like to earn school credit through Work-Based-Learning 2 nd semester, please contact Mrs. Kinchen, the Work Based Learning Teacher, via email.

Thanksgiving Groceries v Every year Abundant Life Church Delivers Thanksgiving groceries to over 300 families in Henry and Butts Counties. v Delivery is on November 21 st: turkey, potatoes, green beans, corn, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and a boxed dessert. v If you know of any families that could use this please have them call 470251 -9565 and leave a detailed message including full name, address, phone number and how many are in their household v The church will get back to them to confirm.

Every Hero Needs a Squad! ØJoin the Squad by working together to make donations for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Hero Squad Program ØThe Hero Squad raises money to help fight blood cancer in children ØVisit Hero. Georgia Student Finance Commission Financial Aid Presentation §The Financial Aid Presentation with the Georgia Student Finance Commission is Tuesday, December 1 st at 6 pm. §Please save the date! International Festival q. November 20, 2020 q. To participate, submit a 30 sec. – 1 min. cultural presentation video q. Video Submission of performances are due Friday, November 13 th q. Earn Community hours for participation

PSAT Examination §The makeup PSAT Exam will be given on January 26, 2021 §The fee for Freshman and Juniors is $17. 00 §Pay at the school with a money order or pay online using My. School. Bucks. com §The PSAT gives a sense of what to expect on the SAT §Transportation and breakfast will be provided

American College Testing (ACT) Pre-ACT §The Pre-ACT will be administered on Tuesday, February 10, 2021 §Like the PSAT, the Pre-ACT gives a sense of what the ACT is like §The cost is $20 §Payment can be made using My. Soccer Conditioning q. Soccer conditioning starts at 4: 15 pm for one hour. q. Bring your own water. q. Conditioning is for both girls and boys.
