Cost Benefit to Drones � � Vietnam War U. S. Forces entered the fighting in 1965 and the U. S. sent 2. 7 Million Troops, 58, 000 Died. Total cost for the war: $140 Billion. � To send a Drone, with no living pilot at risk or other soldiers on the ground!!! � $15 Million- $34 Million to make, $4 Million to deploy and use. What do you think is more practical? �

Homeland Protection � � Concerns of Privacy from the population, which is to be expected. The Big Brother idea. If fact, Homeland Security has started to weaponize domestic drones on our boarders for our protection is there claim so far. Realistically they are there on our boarders to provide us with security, if they in fact surpass our Military-Trip-Wire they claim.

PTSD 5 Million Americans suffer from PTSD currently, and the number is growing. PTSD causes: Natural Disasters Car Crashes Sexual or Physical Assaults Terrorists Attacks Combat During Wartime Taxes paid to the Government, pay the Veterans, who then develop metal issues during war, which then cost more for rehab.

Cost of a Life? � � � Birth: On average in U. S. $2, 600 normal, CSection- $4, 500, complete bill= $8, 802 To die: On average is $10, 000 - $20, 000. An entrance fee, and death fee is given, but who decides to be the executioner? Who has the right to end another's life? Is there a price to calculate for how much you think you are worth, or to another, living or dead?

Big Brother � � Obama has a personal kill list, of threats from other countries, but also included are American’s. Obama working with Homeland Security to approve domestic drones to become weapons, useful on its’ own Citizens. Not having transparency to the Principles, and Will of Obama and his Cabinet. Too much power to deploy, with little or no consequences.

Citizens= Target Practice? � � � Anwar al-Awlaki born in Las, Cruces, New Mexico in 1971, died in Drone Attack on Sep. 11 th 2011. 4 American’s killed in drone strike in 2009, Obama Administration publicly announced. Anwar may have had ties to terrorism, but the other 4 didn’t, you go down this road, when does it stop? Who can and will stop them, if you try you will just be the next target!

Security Dilemma World expenditure for funding Military: $1. 756 Trillion. Of that total, the U. S. alone has half of that amount. U. S. has 39% of that total, China: 9. 5%, Russia: 5. 2%, UK: 3. 5%, and Japan: 3. 4% With that said, if the powers balance itself out, they will join together in fear to stand against us, not join us. Policing the world, we have created a power dilemma.

1 st Pro: Less Soldiers Die, less U. S. casualties � � � � Including, but not limited to: Less American’s will see battle Less American Soldiers will die from war Less American’s won’t have to adjust Less American families torn from death Less American Widow’s or Widower’s Less American’s deployed at all Drones effectiveness without sending one soldier!

2 nd Pro: Cheaper than sending our U. S. Forces. � � � � Citizen’s taxes pay for the U. S. Army Deploying an Army verse’s a Drone Time effectiveness of destruction of enemy Could be strategic, having drones lethal action (Old days, Archers, Calvary, and Infantry) Soldiers get hazard pay, and drones don’t. Have to employ more soldiers in war time. Economy has to support Army growth.

3 rd Pro: American’s Defense Security � � � � Having them used for surveillance. Protect U. S. Boarders. Powerful strikes if needed. A deterrence of those who’d try to fight U. S. Stealthy and sly, and could counter attack. Quick to deploy, and can offset an invasion. Deathly weapon with lots of power. Easily stored, and does not cost money to stay in hazard zone, unlike soldiers.

4 th Pro: Less war induced metal issues such as PTDS (taxes) � � � � Reduce Vets needing therapy after a tour. Less soldiers trying to adjust to society. Healthier relationships, and families. Less tax payer dollars for mental care of Vets. Less taxes for other various mental issues. Less health concerns overall if no solider leave U. S. soil. Less depression, anxiety, PTSD, flashbacks, etc.

1 st Con: Can’t determine how much a life is worth! � � � Casualties will happen, and who is to say how much a life is worth? Accuracy: target may die, but hundreds and thousands of casualties will also occur. Who has the right to take an innocent life? Positive Intel on the whereabouts of a target, rather than just civilians? No one should have to be a casualty if they don’t agree with the war!

2 nd Con: Abuse of power from Authorities � � � Privacy Violations on U. S. Citizens. Intimidation from U. S. Government on it’s Citizens. Presidents personal hit list. Secret Scandals dealing with Drone Strikes. Deploy Drones on every encounter to flaunt the Super Power image. Threaten to use deadly force without warning.

4 th Con: Security Dilemma. � � � U. S. Flaunts it’s power, we will have competition. Bigger a threat to them, they gain more allies to combat our power. The more we have, the more they will make. Arms Race. Always trying to advance technology to up-one another state. The more they rally against U. S. , the more we feel we need them as protection.
