Who is right for this program? There is no one description for the ideal LCSE student, but here a few of the characteristics that we are looking for: • An eagerness to learn • An interest in math and science • A developed or developing work ethic • An individual who sees him/herself as part of a community of learners—someone who works well with others. • A problem solving mindset • A commitment to making the most of your life
Program Requirements • 4 yrs of high-level Math & Science • 2 yrs of custom Leadership Training • 3 STEM electives • LCSE Senior Capstone Project • 200+ Hours of Volunteer/Service Work • Annual VHSL Extra-Curricular Activity or Sport • Clean discipline history.

Successful Applicants Then… Ø are invited to take a unified entrance test on March 19 at NHS. This test will be the test for acceptance to Granby’s IB, Maury’s Pre-Med, and Norview’s LCSE Programs. Ø complete a well written essay onsite
Important Dates § January 22 nd - Applications Due to Counselors § February 5 th - Applications Due to Rosemont § Week of March 5 th - Invitations to LCSE Test § March 19 th - Unified Test and Essay at NHS § Week of April 25 th - Acceptance Letters mailed § May 3 rd - Final Decisions sent to Specialty Program Directors
