A 1 M 2 1. M 1 starts with ball, makes dodge and passes to M 2 2. M 2 moves to M 1 to receive pass, dodges towards alley. 3. M 2 passes to A 1. 4. A 1 cuts and receives ball on the run. Timing is important. 5. A 1 receives pass and shoots on the run. 6. Done from both sides. Under the Top M 1

A 1 M 1 1. A 1 starts with ball, makes dodge and passes to M 1 2. M 1 moves towards A 1 to receive pass then dodges towards top of box. 3. M 1 passes to M 2. 4. M 2 cuts and receives ball on the run. Timing is important. 5. M 1 shoots on the run. 6. Done from both sides. Over the Top M 2

1 A 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Hustle G D 1 B D 2 2 3 3 Goalie throws outlet pass to one of the 3 attacking players. Players go down for a 3 v 2. Once a shot is taken or ball hits the turf, play is dead. **The last player to touch the ball, continues past GLE and gets in line on B side. The remaining 2 players have to hustle back to play D on their net A. The B side Goalie then feeds one of his breaking players attacking net A 7. This continues going back and forth. 8. Can also be a 4 v 3 9. Played either half or full field. 10. Everyone plays O and D in this drill.

Buddy Ball 1 3 D 2 1. Coach rolls out ball 2. 1 & 2 battle for ball. 3. 3 has to put himself in a position to receive outlet pass from winner. 4. *Version 2 is 3 gets involved and helps either 1 or 2 win ground ball and then create outlet pass. 5. *Version 3 is there are 3 players battling for ground ball.

1 Carolina 2 G D 4 1. All four locations have balls. 2. Coach yells out a location number 3. That location attacks net, D must react. 4. * This can also be 2 v 1. Coach calls out 2 numbers “ 3&4”. The first number is the locations who brings the ball in. 5. * This can also be 3 v 2. Coach calls out 3 numbers “ 2, 1, 3” The first number is the location who brings the ball in. 6. * This can also be 4 v 3. Coach calls out location number of who brings the ball in. 7. Location positions can be changed or added. 3

Butt A GLE G D 3 D 1 M 1 GLE D 2 M 3 M 2 1. Always have to have a player below GLE. If A goes above GLE then one of the Ms has to go below. 2. Only exception is if A attacks net within 5 yards of crease. 3. Ms must work to get open though picks and switches. 4. A wants to be in constant motion. 5. Work to get shot 6. D must TALK. 7. If A attacks crease on D 1 side. D 1 must stop A, D 2 must slide to cover M 1 & D 3 must slide to cover M 2 leaving M 3 the farthest away open. 8. The D has to adjust on next pass.

Flying Rats G D C D 1 1. Cones are set up in a V extending from goal posts. 2. Can only play inside the cones. 3. Coach feeds either 1 or 2 and they attack net. 4. Once shot is taken or ball hits turf, play is dead. 5. Coach will feed same players 2 more times. Then new D and new O come in. 6. Can also be 3 v 2 7. ** This is a fast break/passing drill. NO DODGING. 2
