VOCABULARY v Scroll: a roll of parchment or paper for writing or painting on. v Realism: To draw things how they actually look like v Perspective: A technique in drawing that shows the different points of view of an object. Making 2 D objects look 3 D
TYPES OF PERSPECTIVES v Eye Level perspective: the height a viewer’s eyes are positioned in relation to the ground.
BIRD’S EYE VIEW v Bird’s eye view perspective: A view of an object from above. Viewing the world as if you were a flying bird.
WORM'S EYE VIEW worm's eye view: a view of an object from below, as if you were a worm looking up

WHAT YOU WILL NEED! v -A large container v -Coffee or Tea v - A long sheet of White paper v -A Pencil and Black marker or a black pen
STEPS FOR THE PROJECT v Step 1: Making the paper look old -Take normal white paper & dip it into coffee or tea, and let it dry
STEP 2 v Once the paper is dry you can start to draw using pencil v Draw one of the ideas, from your Think like an Inventor Worksheet
STEP 3 v -Draw over your pencil drawing with a black marker or black pen v -To make it look even older, you can tear the edge of the paper v Optional: If you want you can add some colors. You can use marker or color pencil. Or brown pastel.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO v -Draw your invention v -Label the 5 different parts of your invention v -Show 3 different perspectives of your invention v -Write the title & your name at the top v -Draw a person using your invention
