Challenge Yourself: Post-Lab Questions Question #1: A gas sample has a volume of 125 ml at 91. 0 k. Pa. What will its volume be at 101 k. Pa? (Remember, there are 1000 Pa = 1 k. Pa) Question #2: Divers get “the bends” if they come up too fast because gas in their blood expands, forming bubbles in their blood. If a diver has 0. 05 L of gas in his blood under a pressure of 190, 000 mm of Hg, then rises instantaneously to a depth where his blood has a pressure of 50. 0 atm, what will the volume of gas in his blood be? Do you think this will harm the diver? Why, in what way?

Challenge Yourself: Post-Lab Questions (MOD) Question #4: A gas sample has a volume of 125 ml at 1. 4 atm. What will its volume in units of liters at 1. 01 atm? (Remember, there are 1000 ml = 1 L ) Question #5: Divers get “the bends” if they come up too fast because gas in their blood expands, forming bubbles in their blood. If a diver has 0. 05 L of gas in his blood under a pressure of 8. 4 atm, then rises instantaneously to a depth where his blood has a pressure of 50. 0 atm, what will the volume of gas in his blood be? Do you think this will harm the diver? Why, in what way?
