Drama – Understanding a character profile When you are watching a film or TV show they will all begin in a similar way, with the introduction of a main character. There are lots of things to consider when creating a character. Character Analysis Actor’s name: __________ Developing an understanding for how character and story is interpreted and communicated. Pick a line that your character says and try to describe how he/she speaks. Accent? Volume? Tone? (e. g. sarcastic, happy, excited) Character’s name: __________ In order to help you understand how character is communicated, watch one of your favourite films/TV Programmes and choose a character. You can either use this template, do it on a separate piece of paper or make your own slide, word document or something far more creative. Whatever you want to do!
