Usually themes use strong, relatable problems and issues. • In the 1940 s Drama came into its own, this is where the character’s relationships and developments are focused. It had a pantomime style, within the dramatic, silent films • The 1950 s focused more on the relationships between men, women, teenagers and crime • However in the 1960 s, they focused more on politics
