Kingdom wide meeting called King offered the princess’s hand in marriage (and ½ the kingdom) to the person who stopped the dragon Cobbler’s eldest son (who thinks he’s smarter than everyone else) accepted the terms Father gives son advice, does not take it and the dragon sees through his trick and eats him whole Middle son (who was very strong) volunteers to slay the dragon Father gives son advice, does not take it, the dragon sees him as he attacks and eats him whole 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

Rising action and Climax 10. Then the youngest son (who was decent, honest and not boastful) knew that it was his turn to defeat the dragon 11. This thoughtful son asked his father for advice – his father gave him the same advice he did the other 2 12. Youngest son goes, dragon sees him approach and waits patiently for him to attack like his brothers, but son never does 13. The dragon comes out and the son is trembling and stated the phrase that his wise father told him (and his 2 brothers) to say 14. In a rage he lifts his sword and it falls on the dragon and kills him 17. Two older brothers crawl out of belly and thank their little brother 18. Son states he glad he listened to his wise father now he’ll be the richest man in the land 19. They gather all of the treasures that the dragon had stolen 20.
