Reminder: napkin lectures are NOT complete presentations. They just enable you to share something simple yet different enough about God that your listener(s) will want to hear a more polished presentation. Rev. Ken Sudo (120 -day workshops, Barrytown, 1970 s) named them this because you’d draw them spontaneously on a restaurant napkin for a friend or two. In most cases, you’d develop the idea on a single piece of paper. But the drawings for some ideas are so different that you’ll have to start on a new piece of paper. In the “speaker notes” area of the file, you will find the exact passages in the DP book that the diagrams illustrate. It’s likely that you’d need to paraphrase these passages into normal, spoken language that your listener can more easily understand.
