Downloading Hopthru (ORCA for Phone) CONNER ADAMS
Downloading Each quarter, students are eligible for a free ORCA cards which are available at the Campus Safety office in Puyallup which allows students free access to Pierce Transit as well as parking at the South Hill Mall Park and Ride. These cards are also available digitally through the Hopthru app. To download the Hopthru app, you can search “Hopthru” in the app store or text “Hopthru” to 43506 to receive a download link.
Signing Up For An Account When you first open Hopthru, you have the option to sign up or continue as a guest user. For the free ORCA card, click on Sign Up and the app will ask for your phone number to send you a six digit code through text message. Enter in this code and you will be taken to the main menu.
Registering For The Pass Program Once you are on the Pass Wallet main screen, click on the three horizontal bars at the bottom left and click on “Register for Pass Program”
Registering For The Pass Program (2) In the Register for Pass Program screen, enter in your Pierce College student email address, the general format is: • First letter of your first name + your entire last name + the last 4 digits of your Student ID number followed by @smail. pcd. edu E. g. jdoe 4713@smail. pcd. edu
Registering For The Pass Program (3) Now you have the Pierce College ORCA card available to use, simply click on the pass and show the screen to your bus driver and you’re ready to go!
