Download the BAS SW from basreports. attendance. gov. in/downloads You may also download the Installation Guide given in this page and refer for BAS Installation

You will get a zip file like “Aebas_RD_desktop_09_01_18. zip” – If you unzip the zip file you will get the above two files. Then you may Install the BAS application by executing the Setup. msi

Note : BAS version 3. 1. 0. 1 is getting installed

You have to restart the system once – to use the BAS application. After successful installation of BAS application in your system, you will get a BAS icon in desktop.

After Successful Installation and restarting the system. The Reporting Officer (eg. HM) can invoke the BAS application and register the given Finger. Print / IRIS device for the location (to activate the device for the location s/he has to get the activation code from the concerned DEO)

Device Activation (One Time Process) After successful installation of BAS application in a desktop system. During first time, the system will allows the Bio. Metric Admin User of the location (eg. HM of the school) to activate the Finger Print device installed with the system for marking attendance by all the employees in the location

Here, Select TAMIL NADU as your attendance domain

For activating the Device for the location – the BIOmetric Admin user of the location (eg. : HM) can key-in the device activation code received from the respective DEO. Then click the Submit button. Now the officer has to keep any one of his finger on the Finger. Print Device and click the VERIFY button. If successfully authorized, the officer will get a confirmation message “CLIENT AUTHEREIZATION COMPLETED” Note : - Validity of the device activation code is one day. Also the activation code can be used only once.

Here the Biometric Admin user of the location (eg. HM) (a) has to key-in the Device Activation Code received from respective DEO also (b) s/he has to select the Device Location from the List-Box, then (c) authenticate himself/herself with his fingerprint to activate the Finger Print Device for the location {by clicking the Verify button}

The Biometric Admin user of the site – then click the verify button and keep any one of his/her finger on the fingerprint device to activate the finger print device installed in the location. Note : Device activation is one time process for a system / device.

If successfully authorized, then you will get an alert message “Client Authorized Please restart the application”. Now, any one can mark his/her attendance with this device

Marking Attendance by employees of the locatiion Once the Device is successfully activated for the location (It will not show device activation screen again). Then the BAS sw can be invoked any number of times, employees in the location can mark Their attendance regularly.

Marking In-Time attendance by an employee The employee has to type his/her Attendance-ID and verify himself/herself with fingerprint.

First time marking attendance for a day - will be treated as IN-Time of the Officer (eg. Here the IN-Time of the officer is marked as “ 09 Hrs 30 Min 23 Seconds” on 14 -12 -2018)

Marking Out-Time attendance by an employee Here the IN-Time of the officer is marked as “ 09 Hrs 30 Min 23 Seconds” on 14 -12 -2018 and the Out time is marked as “ 13 Hrs 40 Min 10 Seconds”

Here the IN-Time of the officer is marked as “ 09 Hrs 30 Min 23 Seconds” on 14 -12 -2018 and the Out time is marked as “ 14 Hrs 17 Min 10 Seconds” Note : (1) Employee can mark OUT-Time attendance for any number of times (ie) The system will treat the first marking as IN-Time and the last marking of attendance as OUT-Time. Here the IN-Time of the officer is marked as “ 09 Hrs 30 Min 23 econds” and the Out time is marked as “ 14 Hrs 17 Min 10 Seconds” on 14 -122018 (2) The Date and time of attendance is taken from the server (not from the client system).
