Downing Band Directors’ Mission Statement The Downing Band will provide a quality performing arts experience, instill a sense of community among its members, and encourage each member to strive for personal and group excellence. The Downing Band Directors will provide an environment in which young people can develop strong character, become excellent all-around students, and grow into wonderful musicians who will have a life-long love for music.
