At what two points on the map will the two highways intersect? 2) A freshly painted circle on the blacktop is represented by x 2 + y 2 = 5. Tommy is skate boarding towards the circle in a motion of y = 3 x – 5. At what two points will Tommy hit the circle?

At the same time his friend tosses a kickboard into the water that creates a motion of y = – 1. 5 x + 4. At what point will the kickboard hit the diver? Will he already be below the water? (Disregard that kickboards float…this one doesn’t)
