Introduction of SWAp- two sets of activities: 1. Horizontal Activities Ø Define the Sectors that will be the carriers of sector approach, and preparation of comprehensive multi annual strategies for each of them Ø Review Sector Strategies as well as prepare the standardized methodology for strategies’ preparation Ø Ensure linkages between existing national budget frameworks, donor coordination frameworks, public finance management procedures and planning and monitoring mechanisms 2. Sector-level Activities (Judiciary, Environment) Ø A Review of the Environment sector policies and strategies and identifying a reference strategic document/ plan Ø Preparation of the Environment sector budget and its medium term perspective Ø Establishment of functional coordination structures Ø Developing of a sectoral performance assessment framework (PAF) to monitor the progress Belgrade, 30. 11. 2011. 3
