Bm/MHz in the frequency band 3. 4 to 4. 8 GHz with the following requirements Ton max = 5 ms Toff mean ≥ 38 ms (averaged over 1 sec) Σ Toff > 950 ms per second Σ Ton < 5% per second and 0. 5% per hour Submission for 4 a 7

Bm/MHz in the frequency band 3. 4 to 4. 8 GHz • Current requirement - detect Wi. Max signal and avoid/reduce power • The proposed DAA mechanisms composed of: Ø Introduction of “silent period” - For coexistence between UWB and victim services when avoid mechanisms is not yet active - For measurements/detection operation Ø Victim service UL detection for “Avoid” operation activation. Ø “Avoid” operation in order to protect the DL signal. - further study on power level at the 3. 4 – 3. 8 GHz band (currently – 85 d. Bm/MHz) Submission for 4 a 8
