Do you need to develop essential skills that will help you get a job? You are eligible to attend this training if you are: • A Lone Parent, or • Claiming Incapacity Benefit, or • On no benefits, or • Aged 18 -24 yrs old – and unemployed for 6 months or less, or • Aged 25 yrs old plus – and unemployed for 18 months or less By attending this free training you can gain qualifications in First Aid, Health and Safety and Manual Handling Our Routes into Employment training will help you develop the skills and knowledge needed to maximise your chances of employment. During the training we will also provide you with help in accessing work experience/volunteering opportunities, help with Jobsearch ie CV writing, preparing for interview and making job applications The training is being held: 7 th, 8 th & 9 th September 2011 Derwentside CVS, The Tommy Armstrong Centre, Clifford Road, Stanley, DH 9 0 XG 28 th, 29 th & 30 th September 2011 Derwentside CVS, Glenroyd House, Medomsley Road, Consett, DH 8 5 HL Time 9: 00 a. m. to 4. 30 p. m. each day You must be able to attend all three days of the training NBZ Enterprises and Derwentside Council for Voluntary Services are working in conjunction with New College Durham to provide this training Places on the training are limited and must be booked with us in advance on 01207 593441
