Do Not Look At Worthless Things • Do not look upon a woman to lust after her. Matthew 5: 28; 2 Samuel 11: 2 -4; Job 31: 1 Note: The same warning can be given to women

Matthew 5: 28 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. We are inundated with immodest dress, both live and in advertising. We must be careful of our eyes and our lust.

2 Samuel 11: 2 -4 Then it happened one evening that David arose from his bed and walked on the roof of the king's house. And from the roof he saw a woman bathing, and the woman was very beautiful to behold. 3 So David sent and inquired about the woman. And someone said, "Is this not Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite? " 4 Then David sent messengers, and took her; and she came to him, and he lay with her, for she was cleansed from her impurity; and she returned to her house.

Conclusion Remember, we will not turn our eyes away from gazing upon vain things unless we first stretch out our heart toward the word of God. Colossians 3: 5, 16
