What is DMT? DMT is a psychoactive, hallucinogenic chemical found in many plants located in Central and America. It can also be synthesized in a lab.

How it Works in the Brain: DMT is very similar to serotonin, so it can bind with serotonin receptors. Causes neurons to fire without the presence of serotonin.
