NEW JERSEY’S STATEWIDE ASSESSMENT PROGRAM 2019 marks the 1 s t administration of the New Jersey Student Learning Assessment in grades 3 -6 ELA and Math NJSLA-S- (The New Jersey Student Learning Assessment. Science 5)- Second year of administration and results have not yet been released. Renaissance Testing is utilized for grades Kindergarten through 6 t h to measure proficiency in the areas of Reading and Math, tailor instruction, as well as to encourage students to read for enjoyment through the Accelerated Reader Program. All students are assessed a minimum of four times per year. 2

ADDRESSING CURRENT NEEDS All students were assessed at the start of the 20/21 school year Teachers identified skill deficits and have worked to not only review but continue to move forward with grade level curriculum. Creation of differentiated instructional groups, based on indistrict assessments. Virtual Sonday after school program began Teachers continue to focus on utilizing resources such as Google Classroom in order to prepare for a smooth transition. One to one laptops for grades K-6 Structured delivery of instruction through live or pre-recorded lessons when virtual. 18
