District Grants Timetable • Receive draft applications before 1 July • Receive reports from 2018 -19 projects by 31 July • Repay any unused Foundation money by 31 August • Final applications by 31 August • Block Grant request submitted 30 Sep District Leadership & Training Committee 2019 -20 Assembly

Peace initiatives in District 1080 • Ongoing programme to work with young people to build awareness of conflict resolution – Peace Hubs • Peace Fellows • Distance hosting – Insight into peace studies supported by Rotary District Leadership & Training Committee 2019 -20 Assembly
Why Foundation? • Admin costs very low – 9% • All projects are in the hands of Rotarians • We can decide where our projects are situated • Rotarians decide how the funds are spent • Donations can go to the area of focus of our choice • The capital of an Endowment is never spent District Leadership & Training Committee 2019 -20 Assembly
