Assistant Governor Role & Expectations Term of 3 years Meet with cluster presidents at least 4 times per year Visit each cluster club at least twice per year Introduce Governor at each cluster club on the Governor’s official visit Act as an information conduit between the clubs and the district council Alert the District Governor of any issues or noteworthy actions by any of the cluster clubs or their members • Act as an ambassador of the district and Rotary Foundation when visiting cluster clubs • • •

District 7080 Committee Roles FOUNDATION • Chair : Report to Council on Status of Fundraising, Grants and Future Vision. Oversee stewardship of District Foundation Funds. • Grants: Review grant requests, Obtain approvals and Authorize payments • Fundraising: Ensure Clubs have Foundation Goals, Support clubs to reach goals • Future Vision: Develop processes to transition to future vision • Paul Harris Society: Enrol new members into the PHS. COMMUNITY SERVICE • To make clubs aware of district and inter district service project opportunities to ensure that the clubs in the district make full use of the grants and funds available. YOUTH • To support clubs in their engagement with the various youth service opportunities within Rotary. • Report to Council on the status of youth activities in the district.
District 7080 Committee Roles PUBLIC RELATIONS MEMBERSHIP TRAINING • Create strong awareness of Rotary within the communities of our district • Aid and support clubs in their public relations efforts • Ensure each club has a membership goal • Advise clubs of membership tools and tactics • Aid and support clubs in their membership efforts • Facilitate all district wide training (PETS, Club Leadership etc. ) • Report to Council on status of training initiatives
District 7080 Committee Roles VOCATIONAL SERVICE • Promote vocational service activities at the club level CONFERENCE • Work with the host committee in the planning of the annual District Conference FINANCE • Ensure that all financial transactions are recorded and conducted properly at the district • Report to council at each meeting the district's financial position and its performance to budget • Prepare a district budget for review and approval by the clubs
District 7080 Committee Roles STRATEGIC PLANNING • Develop and maintain the Strategic Plan for the District DISTRICT MANUAL REVIEW • Review and update the district manual to reflect the actual organization and procedures being followed in the district • Solicit club input on Rotary Legislative matters.
