These small frogs looked like typical poison frogs, which tend to walk or make short little hops in the manner of toads. But Colostethus nubicola isn't called "Rocket Frog" for nothing they can jump much further than you would expect from their size and shape.

The strawberry poison frog or Oophaga pumilio is a species of small amphibian poison dart frog found in Central America. The species is often found in humid lowlands and premontane forest, but large populations are also found in disturbed areas such as plantations. The strawberry poison frog is perhaps most famous for its widespread variation in coloration, comprising approximately 15– 30 color morphs , O. pumilio , while not the most poisonous of the dendrobatids, is the most toxic member of its genus.
Oophaga histrionica 'Baudo' Oophaga histrionica
Oophaga is a genus of poison-dart frogs containing nine species. Many of these species were formerly in the Dendrobates genus. Strawberry poison frog
Ranitomeya vanzolini
Ranitomeya summersi This species is interesting in that it is essentially a terrestrial frog. The forests near where this species is found are substantially drier than most other Ranitomeya habitats in central Peru, which may be one reason the frogs stay near the humid ground. Ranitomeya summersi appears to breed primarily in treeholes and Dieffenbachia
"Ranitomeya duellmani "Yasuni”
This species appears to be primarily arboreal, although descends to the forest floor for reproduction. Eggs are deposited in leaf litter and tadpoles are later deposited in large bromeliads or tree. Ranitomeya . holes is sympatric with benedicta R. and R. ventrimaculata in the northern part imitator of its range Ranitomeya benedicta from type locality, Shucushuyacu, Peru.
