DISPENSATION OF FULNESS OF TIMES Bruce R. Mc. Conkie of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles The final great dispensation of the gospel is known as the dispensation of the fulness of times, or in other words the time of the fulness of times, or the dispensation of the fulness of dispensations. That is, as rivers flow into an ocean, all the dispensations of the past flow into this final great dispensation. It is the time, age, or era which is made up of all the dispensations of the earth's history. It is the age in which the Lord will "gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth. " (Eph. 1: 10; D. & C. 27: 13. )

DISPENSATION OF FULNESS OF TIMES Every key, power, and authority ever dispensed from heaven

DISPENSATION OF FULNESS OF TIMES Every key, power, and authority ever dispensed from heaven to men on earth, which is necessary for their eternal salvation, has already been restored in this dispensation. (D. & C. 110: 11‑ 16; 112: 14‑ 32; 128: 18‑ 21. ) All of the knowledge that has ever been revealed (plus some held in reserve to be revealed initially in the last days) will in due course come to light in this final dispensation. (D. & C. 101: 32‑ 34; 121: 26‑ 32; 124: 41; 128: 18. ) (Mormon Doctrine [1966], 2 d ed. , p. 200)

DISPENSATION OF FULNESS OF TIMES D&C 128: 18. . . For we [latter-day Israel] without them [past Israel; ancestors in spirit prison] cannot be made perfect; neither can they without us be made perfect. Neither can they nor we be made perfect without those who have died in the gospel [the faithful in all past dispensations] also; . . .

DISPENSATION OF FULNESS OF TIMES D&C 128: 18 cont. . for it is necessary

DISPENSATION OF FULNESS OF TIMES D&C 128: 18 cont. . for it is necessary in the ushering in of the dispensation of the fulness of times, which dispensation is now beginning to usher in, that a whole and complete and perfect union, and welding together of dispensations, and keys, and powers, and glories should take place, and be revealed from the days of Adam even to the present time. And not only this, but those things which never have been revealed from the foundation of the world, but have been kept hid from the wise and prudent, shall be revealed unto babes and sucklings in this, the dispensation of the fulness of times.

WHAT APOSTASY DID. . . 1 Ne 13: 26 And after they go forth by the hand of the twelve apostles of the Lamb, from the Jews unto the Gentiles, thou seest the formation of that great and abominable church, which is most abominable above all other churches; for behold, they have [1] taken away from the gospel of the Lamb many parts which are plain and most precious; and also [2] many covenants of the Lord have they taken away.

WHAT APOSTASY DID. . . JS-Hist. 1: 19 I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were all wrong; and the Personage who addressed me said that all their [3] creeds were an abomination in his sight; that those [4] professors were all corrupt; that: "they draw near to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me, [5] they teach for doctrines the commandments of men, having [6] a form of godliness, but they deny the power thereof.
