Disney’s Animal Kingdom New Attraction: Chillin’ With Chinchillas!
What is it? • A carefully crafted habitat devoted to chinchillas and their special needs. • Both species of chinchillas: Short-tailed and longtailed chinchillas will be presented! • Attendees will be able to pet, feed, and play with the mammals; they will also learn about the habitats of the mammal and its history, geographics and such.
Target Market Demographics: Not gender specific; families, children 8 and up Psychographics: Animal lovers; Rodent Lovers; people interested in the animal lifestyle of Australia Geographics: People, mostly, around the world but most likely not from Australia Behavior: Full year passes for families to see the chinchillas!!
Endorsements!!! • Two Words!!: ELLEN DEGENERES • She is a well known animal lover who has her own television show! • Chinchillas are not a well known mammal next to kangaroos and such. She, on her show, can introduce her new animal love, the chinchilla. • Because of her show, and the large amount of ratings it gets, it is perfect as a way to endorse “Chillin’ With Chinchillas!”
