Disconnector Switches and Earth Switches b alinezhadyahoo com09123120634

Standards • IEC 62271 -102 High-voltage alternating current disconnectors and earthing switches b. alinezhad@yahoo.

Defenition • Disconnectors are used for galvanic isolation of networks or sections of switchgear installations. As an independent air-insulated device, they form a visible isolating distance in their open position. They are suitable for switching small currents (< 0. 5 A) or also larger currents if the voltage does not change significantly between the contacts of a disconnector pole during switching (commutation currents). b. alinezhad@yahoo. com-09123120634 All rights reserved
