Discipline Recidivism The act of an individual repeating an undesirable behavior This is an important concept in addressing discipline in our schools and an area of focus for HCS. We must contextualize the issue; it is not as wide spread as many believe.

Students with 5 or more ODRs account for 35% of the total infractions across the district. Students with 5 or more ODRs make up less than 1% of the total HCS student population. Thus, across the District, a small percentage of students account for a substantial proportion of disciplinary infractions.
