Benefit to the Staff, Students, and Parents • By having the hyperlinks available at the click of a mouse the assistant principal will be able to justify decision making with easy access to Penal Codes, Educational Codes, and the Student Handbook. • This is also information that can be shown to the students or parent to justify decisions or make clear the expectations of students at Alvin High School. The documents are laws of the State of Texas or passed by the Alvin Independent School District and are clear and should be non-negotiable by parent or student. • By using the Discipline Cheat Sheet created by the school district administrative team discipline of students should be consistent across the board. By doing the school will run with a solid foundation in discipline leading to a more effective learning environment.
