Redrafting, responding to questions, and green penning time will be given. Using a green pen, go back to your work and make the improvements. The different coloured pen will help your teacher to see where you have made improvements.

Feedback to pupils through verbal feedback stamps, questions, post it notes, milestones or stickers telling them how to make improvements, 5 x spellings and boxes for responses Ensure that time is given to allow pupils to improve upon their work and make marginal gains to their learning. This will in theory ‘narrow the gap’ Allow pupils to use red or green pens/ highlighters to evidence where they have made improvements or completed ‘DIRT’ time Dedicated Improvement Reflection Time Give pupils ‘DIRT’ time at least once a fortnight. ‘FEEDBACK FORTNIGHT’ It can be 2 minutes – 1 hours depending on how you plan to allow them to act on your feedback. Students can do this through a) answering your questions, b) green penning their work and c) upleveling their work in a 2 nd draft. FEEDBACK MAD TIME!
