Direct Object Pronouns
REMEMBER • A Direct Object Pronoun (DOP) replaces the “thing”. • The subject and verb will not change. • The DOP comes BEFORE the conjugated verb or slapped onto the infinitive verb.
What is a DOP? A Direct Object Pronoun literally means “it”. It takes the place of the object so that you don’t have to keep repeating yourself. lo (him, it, you formal) la (her, it, you formal) los (them, you plural) las (them, you plural)
