(société anonyme) Business summary: The winery aims to promote the region as one of the new wine-growing areas, especially for the Greek varieties, thus reviving the old glory of the county in terms of viticulture. Our goal is the production of our vineyards of essential varieties needed in the creation of our wines, but also the cooperation with the producers from the region of Northern Greece, the lowland Thessaloniki (Assyrtiko-Roditis), the mount Holomontas (Mavroudi), the Chalkidiki (Kabernet Sauvignon) and Naoussa (Xinomavro), while maintaining quality in the cultivation of grapes and the philosophy of the wines we produce. Swot 7 Strength: Our strength is the vast experience of our management team, we have people on board who are highly experienced and understands how to grow business from the scratch to becoming worldwide company. We have the will to experiment with flavor and make it unique and understandable. We grow our own grapes, under certain environmental conditions, so we keep a hight level in quality and we have certified suppliers. Opportunities The opportunities for Dionysus Winery with a wide range of products are enormous. As a result of that, we were able to conduct a thorough market survey and feasibility studies so as to position our business to take advantage of the existing market for wine products and also to create our own new market. We know that it is going to requires hard work, and we are determined to achieve it. Weakness: A major weakness that may count against us is the fact that we are a new winery and we don’t have the financial capacity to engage in the kind of publicity that we intend giving the business especially when big names are already determining the direction of the market. Threat: We are quite aware that just like any other business, one of the major threats that we are likely going to face is economic downturn and unfavorable government policies (more or special taxes).
