DESCRIPTION GREETINGS APPEARENCE • Good morning/afternoon 4/5 G. My name is Mohamad Taha. I am an expert on dinosaurs, today I am going to be talking about my favourite dinosaur, Ankylosaurus. • Dinosaurs are known as giant lizards. The dinosaur weighed roughly 4 tons. It is 25 -35 feet long, 6 feet wide and 4 feet tall. • Ankylosaurus has leathery skin from the bottom and a heavy protected armour at the top. Ankylosaurus has a big protection with little hard plates on it.

APPEARENCE • It also has 2 rows of spikes on the surface. Ankylosaurus has a tail that looks like a hammer. The Ankylosaurus armour is similar to a turtle. The dinosaur was as big as a tank or bigger. The tank shield is not as strong as ankylosaurus. Also ankylosaurs is a walking tank but the tank drives. • Ankylosaurs has 2 rows of spike on the corner of the armour. The ankylosaurus is a brownish tan colour. This dinosaur walks on 4 feet. The tail of the ankylosaurus has a strong and flexible tail.

PREDATORS AND DEIT PREDATORS • The tail is hammered shape because it protects its self from predators. The predators of the Ankylosaurus are T-REX. Sometimes the Ankylosaurus beats the T-REX. • The Ankylosaurus has a weak spot. That weak spot can be caught by the T-REX. The weak spot is near the leg at the bottom. DEIT • This huge, extremely heavy reptile was a plant eating dinosaur. It had to eat a huge amount of low-lying plant material to sustain itself so its gut must have been very large. • It probably had a seething area to aid in the digestion of the tough plant material, producing big amounts of gas! People call this reptile the peaceful plant muncher. • When other dinosaurs are hungry like the T-Rex they eat ankylosaurus.

HABITAT • The Ankylosaurus lived in many places. These are where it lived: Hell Creek Formation, Montana, Lance Formation, Wyoming, US, Scollard Formation, Alberta, Canada, woodlands and was discovered in America. It also lived in some deserts. • This dinosaur lived in the Late Cretaceous period. This about 70, 000 Years Ago. Ankylosaurus was one of the last armoured dinosaurs to live, and indeed one of the last dinosaurs of any type to live. • They were named in 1908 by a famous fossil-hunter named Barnum Brown.

INTERESTING FACTS DID YOU KNOW THAT: 1. ankulos means curved and sauros means lizard. 2. People call the Ankylosaurus a fused lizard. 3. that Ankylosaurus had a small brain relative to its size and was probably not very intelligent. 4. Ankylosaurus was the last one to survive.
