There will be three major areas of investment that will make up this next phase of the Digital Transformation Strategy 2018 -21 • Integrated MH Care – Driven by high risk of our current clinical systems collapsing – Opportunity to replace under the NHSD GDE programme with £ 3 M match funding to have strategic control of clinical functionality and ownership of data – National requirement to integrate clinical systems • Mobile and Connectivity – Drive by Trust’s estates strategy and agile working for staff – Securing patient data, improving resilience to cyber threats – National requirement to upgrade our secure NHS network • Performance Management and Business Intelligence – Driven by the need to improve data quality and use of our information better – Enabling better transactional management and decision-making – Using information for leadership readiness and assurance These programme are critical to enabling the aims of the Trust and to meet its obligations. To achieve this, they are also ambitious and they require substantial investment, leadership and commitment to succeed.
