Innovator • • Describe how digital portfolios can be used as a growth mindset tool. Using digital portfolios will allow students to analyze and reflect on their work, and will allow students to believe they can develop their brain, ability, and talents because students can actually monitor the progress they make. What are the advantages of a growth mindset in learning new information? By having the opportunity to reflect on their work, students will be able to see evaluate what methods they found more beneficial for learning; students will can focus on HOW they learn better and apply this to their education in the future.

Innovator Cont. • • How can you combine digital portfolios with a growth mindset to improve learning? With a goal in mind, keep a portfolio of students’ works and have them monitor how they have advanced over time. Have them reflect on their development so that they can assess their work (and ways to improve if necessary).
