Section #1 • Your digital footprint could affect your future and personal brand. For example, if have a job interview and the person who is interviewing you, searches you online and finds that what you post inappropriate, and un-professional they probably won't hire you. Also if you apply to a university and you have a bad digital footprint, they probably wont except you. Your digital footprint can affect your personal brand. • Why is it important to be aware of your digital footprint? . It is important to be aware of your digital footprint because once you post somethig anyone cant see it also you can never get rid of it. Another reason is it affects your life for example: it can affect your realationships, might not be able to get a job, and you can loose collage/university offers.

How to keep your digital footprint safe • Make sure you have strong and passowrd that you can remember • Be carefull of what you share online because it can never be erased • Make sure whatever website you are using is safe • Be careful on public networks because it is easy for people to access you information

Digital Permanance • This is how I would explain digital permanance to someone in my sphere of influence: it’s the development of digital storage and techniques extending the lifetime of data stored digital devices • We should care about digital permananace because now our data is getting stored online
