Where to start? Before school year: -Create learning profiles containing learning preferences, family structure, favorite hobbies, etc. -Include previous grade-level information like state assessment scores, lexile readings and fluency recording Once year beings: -Introduce instruction by modifying the process of a few lessons *Example: Create a choice board where students can select activities that you have carefully constructed based on the student’s knowledge and readiness
