Bitmap • A bitmap is a graphic composed of thousands of tiny pixels. You can get an example from Google images. • Advantage: realistically. Can display an image • Disadvantage: Goes pixelated when you try to resize it.
Vector graphics is the use of geometrical primitives such as points, lines, curves and shapes or polygons-all of which are based on mathematical expressions-to represent images in computer graphics. Advantage: If you resize a image, it will stay the same. Disadvantage: Photos cannot be taken as a vector image. It must be drawn by the artist, and must be edited in software like adobe.
