The exams… • • 4 ways in which you will be assessed. Listening test worth 20% Reading test worth 20% Both taken at the end of year 11. • 2 Speaking tasks worth 30%. 4 -6 mins each. • 2 Controlled writing tasks worth 30%. 200 -350 words each. • Done over the 2 years under exam conditions. • Speaking and writing are worth the most so that’s what we will emphasise during the course!
