If you write a long, complicated English presentation full of errors and difficult to translate phrases, you’ll be sorry later. Write a little in English, translate it, and then move on. • Translate a little at a time – You are more likely to miss translation mistakes when you do too much at once. Long, complicated sentences and paragraphs are more likely to produce translation mistakes. • Keep your sentences short & simple – It is the opposite of English class! And you want to understand what you wrote later! • Use your own knowledge of Spanish and some common sense. Proofread. – Read your work in Spanish. Look up words that seem strange. Ask for help!
