Diabetes Supermarket Tours New Supermarket Tours available Tours are for individuals with diabetes who would like to know more about healthy eating, reading food labels so they are able to make informed choices when shopping. Evening Supermarket Tours What? Evening supermarket tours are for those who are unable to attend tours in the day. Evening tours are ideal for those who work during the day. Where? Currently evening tours will be offered at Morrison Idle (5 Lanes Ends) and ASDA Shipley. When? These will run once a month between 5. 15 and 7. 15 pm on the 5 th of July, 3 rd of August and 19 th of September. How to book? Patients can book on the tours by ringing the numbers below. Note: places WILL NOT be secured unless booked via telephone. Virtual Supermarket Tours What? Virtual tours are for those who prefer a classroom environment and might not feel confident touring a supermarket. Virtual tours cover all the aspects of a store tour by using visual aids and packaging to spark discussions. These will be offered in both English and Urdu. Where? Virtual tours will take place in the Nutrition Learning Centre at St. Luke’s Hospital. When? An English and Urdu virtual tour will be offered on a monthly basis and take approx. 2 hours.
