EMODnet Chemistry and EEA EMODnet Chemistry has shared validated data collections on Nutrients, Chlorophyll

EMODnet Chemistry and EEA EMODnet Chemistry has shared validated data collections on Nutrients, Chlorophyll and Hazardous substances in marine organisms EEA has informed to the Eionet National Reference Centers representatives that data on contaminants and nutrients will no longer be requested via the WISE So. E data call, but collected from EMODnet Chemistry/ICES (Nov 2018) Following EEA experts feedback EMODnet Chemistry has taken action for: adapting ODV export data format to EEA needs, with one P 01 per record, harmonization of P 01 (in the local variable names and measurement units) and the split of P 01 terms in subcomponents collecting additional metadata related to QA-QC methods via links (possibly Ocean Best Practices repository) and data

INSPIRE compliance EMODnet Chemistry has mapped Sea. Data. Net data formats (CDI, ODV) for D 5 C 1 “Nutrients concentrations in water” to INSPIRE data themes: Ø Environmental Monitoring Facilities (EF), Ø Oceanographic Geographical Features (OF) Ø Observations and Measurements (O&M) Number of issues encountered with new INSPIRE ETF metadata validator and with data modelling => change requests submitted JRC has provided written feedbacks Sea. Data. Net has further analysed JRC feedback and will give a written response soon
