It has been observed that by following certain rules if followed, can reduce fatigue. � Provide a comfortable workplace to the workers. � Provide definite locations for keeping tools and materials. � Provide devices to set free hands from holding or other unproductive work. � Provide rapid and convenient feed and delivery system. � Use hand motions which are in balance state, continuous and rhythmic.

The four principles of motion economy are: �Principles related to the use of human body, � Principles related to the arrangement of the work place, � Principles related to the design of tools and equipment. � Principles related to time conservation.

CONCLUSION � The purpose of these principles is to make the operator work consciously so that the person is able to recognise ones capabilities. � This would decrease fatigue and would increase the worker’s output. �This encourages maximum achievement in minimum time. �This results in improvement of working conditions
