Developing Recommendations • Goal: To publish Working Group Recommendations in an Interim Report by May 2005. • Proposed work plan: Focus on 3 priorities Allow as much time as possible to consider public input from all sources (community meetings, web, etc. ). • Optimize time for Working Group discussion and review of options. • Provide enough time for staff work to support the Working Group deliberations. •
Schedule • • November: Identify recommendations topics areas. December & January: Discuss topics. February: Initial discussion of recommendations and report Public Input text. March: Second discussion of recommendations and report text. Comment April: Agree on interim recommendations. period May: Publish interim recommendations and report. August: Comment period ends. September: Publish final report and recommendations.
