Why do meta-skills matter? ‘These are the skills that enable individuals to perform highly today; in a changed world of work they will be required by all of us’. www. skillsdevelopmentscotland. co. uk/media/44684/skills-40_a-skills-model. pdf ‘To thrive in the 21 st century, students need more than traditional academic learning. They must be adept at collaboration, communication and problem-solving, which are some of the skills developed through social and emotional learning (SEL). ’ http: //www 3. weforum. org/docs/WEF_New_Vision_for_Education. pdf
