Power to Ignite • • • The State to have surplus power by the year 2008 -2009. State’s own power generation capacity in year 2003 was 2900 M. W. Since last 3 years the power generation capacity has increased by 2398 M. W. Full Exemption from electricity duty for captive power generating units’ upto 10 KVA on the electricity produced in the State.
